We’re turning Beechworth’s Oregon Hall into a Greek taverna for the first weekend of November – embracing the essence of spring and the approaching summer spirit with traditional food, drinks, music, and the relaxed, lively atmosphere of the Greek islands.

Inspired by time spent in Greece enjoying long, leisurely meals, beloved cookbooks and dining experiences from favourite restaurants – our menu will showcase a three-course set menu using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients from North East Victoria.

THE MENU:

Starters, served with lagana (flatbread)
Fava bean dip with pickled vegetables
Keftades (fried meatballs) with feta skordalia (potato dip)

Mains, served with marinated feta
Crispy lemon potatoes with herbs
Village tomato salad with barley rusks
Lamb kleftiko (slow-cooked) with yoghurt dip

Dessert, served with dad's strawberries*
Strawberry galaktoboureko (custard in filo pastry) with syrup
*from Beechworth Berries

Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available for purchase at the event.
